About El MaPi
Location: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Peru. On the main street in the centre of town, El MaPi Hotel is relaxed and informal with a cool, ultra-modern interior, a result of major refurbishment when Inkaterra Hotels took over in 2010. Polished steel, high ceilings and oversized nature photos continue the laid-back atmosphere introduced by a façade artfully decorated with smooth eucalyptus branches.
The well-lit rooms have a pared-back décor, large windows with blackout curtains, satellite TV, duvets and thick blankets. La Cafeteria provides a great breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner, and there is a comfortable bar/lounge. And to top it off enjoy the ‘hot water pond’ for a dip at the end of the day.
Rooms
The Superior Deluxe rooms are 20 square metres and have panoramic views, twin or king size beds, a hair dryer, TV, cotton bathrobes, natural herbal toiletries, safe box, arm chair and full size mirror.
The Suites are 30 square metres with contemporary comfortable decor. With twin or king size beds the suites have cotton bathrobes, natural herbal toiletries, TV, hair dryer, sofa bed in living room, coffee maker, mini bar wifi, safe box.
