South America was always on my wish-list of places to visit and even though I was lucky enough to have made my first trip back in 2005, its going to stay on my list – there’s just so much to see there. In fact, I have recently returned from a month long trip to Central and South America and every single time I am amazed by the beauty of nature, the incredible landscapes, the culture and of course the friendly locals. On this trip the Galapagos Islands was definitely the highlight, cruising on board a small motor yacht through the pristine islands and the fantastic experience of seeing the animals so close – they don’t get scared! Having said that, I also enjoyed spending days exploring cities like Quito, Ecuador and Antigua, Guatemala and indulging in the delicious food. It was a memorable trip and I hope its not too long before I return to explore new areas.
