ABOUT SOL Y LUNA
Location: Urubamba, Sacred Valley, Peru.
The Sol y Luna, meaning “Sun & Moon” in English, is named for its yellow Andean adobe casitas (little houses). This charming lodge lies in a tranquil setting 1km outside Urubamba in the Sacred Valley. It is enclosed in a red-walled courtyard, encircled by eucalyptus trees and green mountains, while gardens of white margaritas, purple salvia and red fuchsias crowd around each bungalow.
The casitas feature high beamed ceilings, ceramic-tiled floors, and a rustic décor of colourful woven rugs, hand–painted frescoes and Peruvian folk art. The lodge’s restaurant is the best in the valley, renowned for its Novo-Andino fusion cuisine. Add a spa and massage centre and a small outdoor pool and you won’t want to leave!

Sol y Luna boasts one of the best restaurants in the Valley. The chef sources local produce often grown at the hotel so the meals highlighting local cuisine. Guests can also participate in cooking experiences.

Rooms
The spacious circular houses each have a private terrace and offer beautiful views in every direction. The casitas are 60 square metres each and have a king size or twin bed configuration as well as marble bathrooms with toiletries. Guests enjoy complimentary wifi, bathrobes and slippers.
The stone and terracotta Deluxe Casitas have a fireplace, living room, spacious bedroom and private terrace. The casitas are 108 square metres and have a marble bathroom with L’occitane toiletires, bathrobes and slippers. There is a safe in the room as well as a LCD TV, heated floors, walk in closet, mini bar and complimentary wifi.
The Premium Casitas are a spacious 120 square feet with a separate lounge/dining area and bedroom with a king bed or two twin beds. Guests enjoy a private Jacuzzi and terrace, 2 wood burning fireplaces, a mini bar, safe, BOSE sound system, a marble bathroom with double vanity and L’occtane toiletries, 2 LCD TV’s underfloor heating, a walk in closet, bathrobe and slippers and complimentary wifi.
