About Casa Cartagena
Location: Cusco, Peru. The Casa Cartagena is an innovative concept that combines Peru’s historical and cultural heritage with cutting edge modernity and Italian style. This luxury retreat and spa is a surprising alternative to the historic hotels for which the city is best known. The stone walls and arches of a 17thC colonial mansion have been preserved while the interiors of this all-suite hotel have been transformed by a chic contemporary décor throughout. The 16 expansive suites boast imported designer furnishings using wood, leather and natural fabrics, the totally modern, modular furniture contrasting beautifully with the ancient structural elements.
At 6.40pm each evening all guests can enjoy a complementary cocktail and canapes. Guests are also able to take part in a Pisco Sour class where you will learn how to prepare Peru’s national cocktail.
